This week the signs of spring seem to be everywhere.
Longer stretches of light in the evening, the Cherry Blossom starting to bloom and the need to reach for Colin’s Mac3 on the sly as my ankles have started to break free again and it’s been that long I have no idea what I’ve done with my own razor.
I always feel like I start to bring a little spring into the home and my wardrobe before it’s really time, like the dashboard could say 10degrees and my outfit says 20… it’s my ‘grin and bare it’ time of the year as I feel you want everything lighter and brighter shedding the layers of winter.
Daffodils have been creeping into the house in abundance and filled every plant pot or old candle jar I could get hold of to add a little colour. There’s been a start made on the spring clean and any new items of clothing I have picked have been transitional items that can be worn with tights and jackets now but are really for bare legs hopefully in the coming months.

I am looking forward to continuing some decorating this spring and have started to add some personal touches to our bedroom. After purchasing new side tables and a new bed I spied these wall lights on Very and knew they were perfect for the minimal, Scandi feel.
The bulb is from Ikea and I just love how it works in this room. I might get a 3rd for the living room but hoping it’s not overkill, I just LOVE the style of it.
Anyway, I’m writing this with bright tulips beside me and sun streaming in the window, I don’t know about the rest but my mood is brighter already!
