Sunny spring days with Ted Baker {AD}

A glimpse of sunshine and beautiful weather last weekend left me so hopeful for a sun soaked summer.

It’s also my favourite season to dress for light floaty dresses, light colours and delicate prints (especially for little girls).

Ted Baker has been a favourite brand of mine for over 10 years now. I got my first Ted dress for my Graduation Ball and after that it had been my go to for wedding guest outfits due to the great cut and shape, they make me feel great and the pieces are timeless so can be worn time and time again! I got a black shift dress for Bella’s Christening and felt great in it which isn’t an easy task 6 weeks after birth and feeling a little groggy.

I have picked out some items that are perfect for that special occasion as well as a more casual event but will always give you that feel good factor.

When picking items for myself I choose items that will work with an expanding tummy. At 4 months pregnant with baby number 3 I definitely have popped earlier so outfits that can work with or without a bump are fabulous as when investing in good items of clothing you want to ensure they can still be worn next year.

This Hevenly wrap dress with ladder trim and subtle detailing is perfect! I have room to expand the wrap for a growing bump and next year it can be pulled back in. Gorgeous for a special evening with the hem slightly dropped at the back it’s also very flattering and elegant.

The Raidha suede scallop sandals (found here) with block heel are perfect for dressing up a casual outfit or to compliment a dress for a special occasion.

‘The perfect twirly dress’

Annie - age 3

The girls are wearing the Topshie and Toliniz Harmony print dresses, the soft baby blue colour with floral print is so light and fresh. Just like Ted Baker for myself I love the shape of their dresses for little girls, so well cut with great attention to detail or ‘a perfect twirly dress’ as Annie would say. The colours and prints I feel are age appropriate with a bright and carefree feel.

I also picked this two piece skirt and cami top set, the Eevaa skirt (found here) with waterfall hem also looks great with trainers or black ankle boots and with the snake print it will carry you through to autumn/ winter too. The cami top (found here) with scallop edging gives the perfect feminine touch and would be perfect to pair with jeans also for a classic and casual look. The top comes in 3 other colours but love the staple white colour and know I will wear it many different ways throughout the summer.

This post is a paid partnership with Ted Baker but as always all words, images and opinions are my own.

Anna xx
