Good morning everyone and happy Monday (apologies if this is too enthusiastic for a Monday morning).

Yesterday I visited Kildare outlet village, my sister, niece and I were visiting the Irish beauty show and as it is only an hour from Dubin we thought we would make a day of it.

The Village is 2 1/2 hours from Belfast and mostly a straight road down. I have traveled there a few times before and always found it worth it for the outlet prices.

The Village holds many big brand names including

  • Anya Hindmarch
  • Armani
  • Barbour
  • Cath Kidson
  • Coach
  • Dkny
  • Gucci
  • Links of London
  • Ted baker

And many, many more. You can find a full list of brands Here.

After the beauty show we arrived at Kildare at 3pm… I would advise if wanting to visit all stores and go on a full spree heading down a lot earlier. Opening hours on a Sunday are generous at 10am-8pm.

I had a few things in mind that I wanted to look for, this included some pieces for the girls in Joules as being from the UK, comfortable, bright colours (I love seeing kids dressed as kids, as much as I love vintage look bloomers too) and great quality to wash, the brand is a firm favourite. The Joules store didn’t disappoint and I had to stop myself as I could have went totally mad, prices here were from as low as €7 for the little stripy top.

We stopped for lunch at the newly open Joes Cafe, there is also Starbucks, a French and an Italian restaurant. All restaurants are beautiful however my niece is vegetarian and there was very little choice for her (however she is pretty fussy). If you are bringing small children the Italian restaurant offers some children’s pasta dishes however for fussy little eaters I would advise bringing something along.

After some purchases in Ralph Lauren, French Connection and Jack Wills we stopped in Kate Spade. The store had the most beautiful collection and the colours never disappoint, I got a beautiful leather passport holder and a bright pink and gold bangle, it caught my eye and at only €19 euro it was a steal!

I visited Tommy Hilfiger as I love getting Bella’s jeans from here but was disappointed that they have stopped stocking girls clothes.

I spied Carvala silver pointed loafers on the Kildare Instagram page and was excited to see that they still had them in stock. I think these will be very versatile and perfect along with the Spring/ summer pastels and nudes.

Ok I will cut to the chase and show you what’s in the Mulberry bag, sorry to disappoint it wasn’t the cream Anthony bag I was lusting after and trying to convince myself how practical and an investment it would be… Getting new paving slabs for my back garden won (just! 😜). I love the Kildare store and it’s where I always check first, I got my Bayswater in Putty and also the Mitzy tote (which is now specifically made for the outlets) here. I was about to walk out empty handed (so close and my self control is growing, well that and my back balance rapidly declining) when I spied a beautiful selection of iPad cases, as I am going back to work in a few weeks I have been looking out for a new iPad case, the current bounce proof pink one may not be considered professional. I could not pass up this utter steal however and have to share the price as a way also to relieve any guilt (I have recieved 2 Mulberry gifts since Christmas so I could have been divorce, a risk I was willing to take.) €40! Yip only €40 and it was in Powder blue, black and this Hibiscus which I love and will help brighten up the dull days.

I got a very practical ironing board cover in cath Kidson as well as a new collar for Lily, little back pack for Lily and a handbag that Bella had spied in a local store a few weeks ago.

Again Kildare did not disappoint and I hope to be back again in the summer, maybe the garden will be finished and there will be an Anthony with my name on it. 😉

Kildare Village was very kind to give me a VIP card which gives a further discount off purchases however all views and opinions are entirely my own.

Have a great week,

Anna xx
